Nitro Tubing is produced from a honed DOM or CDS steel tube that is hardened through a nitriding process. Nitriding produces a surface finish that is extremely hard and is an environmentally friendly, cost effective, and superior performing alternative to hard chrome plating for all of your pneumatic air cylinder needs.
- Made from DOM and CDS 1026 steel tubing
- DOM meets ASTM A513 Type 5, CDS meets ASTM A519
- 1-1/2” I.D. to 14” I.D. (38.1 mm to 355.6 mm)
- Stocked lengths 12’ – 23’ (3.65m to 7.31m)
- Cut to size lengths
- Surface hardness 64Rc min to 71Rc max.
- 0.001” thickness per side (0.0254 mm)
- Surface finish 16 Ra max
- Tested to 100 hours min. with zero corrosion
Benefits of Nitro Tubing
