Stelmi 200 Chrome Plated Steel Bars : Team Tube is a National Stocking Distributor for Stelmi America’s Chrome Plated Bars. Stelmi Chrome plated bars utilizes an innovative and technically superior continuous plating process. The process results in bars that offer 200 proven hours of neutral spray corrosion resistance. The Stelmi process provides a chrome plate layer that is extremely uniform and dimensionally consistent down the entire length of the bar. The net result is extended piston rod service life
- Made from AISI 1045/1050.
- Meets ASTM A108, A311 Class B, A434 Class BC/BD
- Stock sizes 7/8” to 5”
- Stocked in lengths 20’ – 24’
- Chrome plated hardness of 67 to 72 Hrc.
- Chrome plated surface finish of 16Ra maximum
- Cut to length sizes available
- Stocked chrome plated minimum thickness per side: .0005” (.0127mm) and 0.001” (.0254mm)
